Why I Love Jesus

I love Him because He first loved me;
He died for me at Calvary;
He came as a man humble and low;
That’s why I love my Jesus so.

Knowing Jesus brings me joy and peace;
My anxiety and sorrows through Him are released;
He draws me close to Him and never lets go;
That’s why I love my Jesus so.

He has the power my sin to forgive;
Daily He provides all I need to live;
Through His word and Spirit I grow;
That’s why I love my Jesus so.

When I wake each morning I know He’s there;
I am covered by His gentle, loving care;
Daily I am blessed even more than I know;
That’s why I love my Jesus so.
